When a deadlock occurs writing access.log of Resin is


In intra-mart WebPlatform (resin), when large number of simultaneous access for a long time occurs, there is a possibility that a deadlock occurs writing access.log of Resin. (by this influence, it response not return, it is unresponsive)

Appropriate product is as follows:
・WebPlatform ver 7.0.x
・WebPlatform ver 7.1.x
・WebPlatform ver 7.2.x

Cause, is the defect of Resin.
Details of Resin fault is on the following URL:

0003509: deadlock when writing access log

Add auto-flush= "true" to <access-log> tag of http.xml.
(reference -> logging)

Setting example is shown below.

・Before correction
      <access-log path="log/access.log"
            format='%h %l %u %t "%r" %s %b "%{Referer}i" "%{User-Agent}i"'

・After correction
      <access-log path="log/access.log"
            format='%h %l %u %t "%r" %s %b "%{Referer}i" "%{User-Agent}i"'

Will not be fixed in WebPlatform ver 7.0.x, 7.1.x, 7.2.x this issue.
(because amended in Resin 3.1.x is difficult)
